I have spent my career in the field of healthcare informatics.  I am a registered nurse with a MS in Computer Science and Medical Informatics.  I have worked with top industry leaders and have an extensive portolio of products that have resulted in tangible results.

My thoughts on the topic of technology and healthcare transformation?
I believe in closely listening to the people, specifically those who will be utilizing the technology solution.  Innovation often times is simple and not confined to a specific pathways.  As we forward with technology use In medicine to include AI, it imperative that quality data standards are aligned to evidence based practice guidelines. We want to provide insights for our busy providers and assure we assess each patients current data points (genomics, genetics, treatment and test data, patient submitted data) that supports a dynamic personalized data profile and treatment plan.

My values
I love to listen and find it is a bit of a lost art.  You learn a lot when you listen to others. I do not jump in easily I like to do analysis and research and understands risks prior to proceeding.  I like collaboration and standardization where possible.  People are human I really like checklists and processes that are not error prone or person dependent.  I have lived in the healthcare technology space and know we must adhere to industry standards for terminology and codification.  I think time is important and support virtual care tools and digital technology for use in the healthcare space.  In medicine we have what we call "Plan, Do, Check, Act", which is a feedback loop to assure processes and procedures are aligned to promote best practice.  I work to develop software solutions that are have embedded tools to highlight optimization opportunities.
